How exciting! We finally have some wind! The range on my anemometer was 14-16 with 20 mph gusts. It's been awhile since the kiters have been out, so I think they were taking time to get "their legs" back. This photo is of the signal given to the person holding the kite, to let 'er rip (that means, let her go up), which is pretty much when he takes off. Maybe tomorrow I'll get some shots of their aerial acrobatics.
