Wahiawa Botanical Garden

I love the way this is pronounced -- "wah-hee-wah".  We took so many pictures it's hard to choose which ones should go up on the blog.  Too bad I don't have a brain that likes to remember the names of myriad plants . . . unless I really, really like it.  Such as the jade vine at the bottom of this post!

Quiet and peaceful.

A gum tree.  Richard, are you stuck?

In Hawaii, we have every possible coloration of leaves you can imagine.

Addicted to this beautiful place.
Stately, colorful trunk.

Ficus - the tall root on the left is amazing.  We find these on our hikes.
